Most technology companies start with a category and defend it. Waystead starts with a question: what can now be built that couldn't reasonably exist before?

That question has already become three products — RootsKeeper, Sondre and Evanor — each exploring a different corner of human life: memory, thinking and relationships. They look different on purpose. A studio should let each idea become fully itself.

We're intentionally small. Modern AI lets a focused team explore ideas that once needed a much larger organization. That's a feature, not a limitation: it keeps us close to the work and honest about what's actually good.

Think of this site as a gallery. Waystead provides the frame; the products bring the colour. Some of what we explore will stay experiments. The rest will be the products we're proud to build next.
